We had a wonderful stay at a cozy and classy place not far from the historic center. the rooms were quiet, comfortable, and had a good bathroom. the staff was courteous and helpful, even assisting us up to our rooms on the 3rd floor. the adjoining cafe-bar offered an inexpensive breakfast. We would definitely stay at Hostal Madrid again. Cons: Don't have any issues at all! 😊.

The central location of this guest house made it incredibly convenient for exploring Toledo's main historic sites on foot. It felt like we were right in the heart of the action!
Terrible attitude of staff.

The location of the hotel was great, being just outside the main city area. It was a short walk to all the interesting places, including the bus and railway stations. there was a supermarket close by which was very convenient. The room itself was clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed for my stay. The fast WiFi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected without any issues.
The main drawback of the hotel was the lack of free parking nearby. While it was possible to park a short walk away, it would have been more convenient to have a parking option closer to the hotel.

The rooms at Hostal Madrid were simple and cozy, with nice touches like air-conditioning and soundproofing. I loved how the room had a TV and an en-suite bathroom, making it convenient for me and my children. It really felt like a comfortable home away from home.
Personally, I found the central heating in the room a bit too warm for my liking. But hey, that's just me.

The hotel was an excellent value for money, offering spacious and well-lit rooms with comfortable beds. the staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process easy and accommodating. the location of the hotel was perfect, being only a 10-minute walk away from the main attractions of the city. the hotel was conveniently located near public transportation, local restaurants, and grocery stores, allowing for easy access to everything we needed during our stay.
Although the hotel offered many positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks to consider. there was no available free parking, but the hotel offered a secure underground car park for a small fee.

The rooms at Hostal Madrid are simple and cozy, perfect for a budget traveler like me. I really appreciated the air-conditioning and soundproofing, which provided a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The flat-screen TV was a nice bonus too!
Personally, I didn't find the shower/tub combinations in the private bathrooms very convenient. But hey, that's just my preference.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Toledo for a few days and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with useful information about parking in the city and even showing me free public parking near the bus station. The breakfast offered at the hotel was delicious, with options like coffee with milk, toast with tomatoes and olive oil, and refreshing orange juice. The hotel itself was in a great location, close to the main gate of the old city and within walking distance of the bus and railway stations. The rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily, and the hotel had a charming old-fashioned atmosphere with wooden furniture and a beautiful staircase. I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel.
I 100% recommend this hotel.

My room at Hostal Madrid was located on the second floor, and I was worried about carrying my overnight bag up the stairs due to my mild COPD. But to my surprise, the owner's son kindly offered to carry it for me. The staff here is really helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great, close to the old town and main attractions. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were well-maintained. Plus, the nearby cafes and restaurants provided a good selection of food options.
The wifi was a bit unreliable, and the lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry luggage up to the rooms. it was a decent stay but these minor inconveniences did affect the overall experience.
